Tether rolls Hadron tokenization platform into Saudi real estate
The partnership will use First Data as issuer and market operator, with BKN301 connecting Hadron to banking and compliance systems.
Tether is expanding its tokenization push into Saudi Arabia, starting with institutional real estate assets, using its Hadron platform. According to CoinDesk, the stablecoin issuer says Hadron will provide the technology to issue and manage tokenized real estate for institutional investors in the country.
The initiative pairs Tether with Saudi partners First Data and fintech company BKN301. First Data is set to act as issuer and market operator, while BKN301 will connect the platform with banking and compliance systems.
CoinDesk reports that the operating model could later expand beyond real estate into areas including energy and infrastructure finance. The announcement continues Tether’s broader effort to move beyond stablecoins into real-world asset tokenization.
Tether launched Hadron in 2024 to simplify asset tokenization and is also the issuer of XAUT, a tokenized gold offering worth $2.6 billion. CoinDesk notes that Saudi Arabia is exploring tokenization as part of its Vision 2030 financial modernization program.
