An insider at Cactus, Inc. (NYSE:WHD) sold 7,178 shares of Class A common stock on August 5, 2026, according to an SEC Form 4 filed by William D. Marsh, who serves as GC, EVP and Secretary of the Houston-based company, Yahoo Finance reported.
The transaction was priced at a weighted average of $66.32 per share, compared with a $65.91 closing price for WHD on the day of the sale. The filing indicates Marsh liquidated 28% of his direct equity stake, reducing his holdings to 18,665 shares.
Cactus is an energy firm focused on the engineering, fabrication, distribution and leasing of subsurface pressure management equipment and wellhead apparatus, including proprietary systems such as SafeDrill wellheads and SafeLink monobore, as well as frac stacks and zipper manifold equipment.
As of the August 5 close, Cactus had a market capitalization of $4.8 billion and reported trailing twelve-month revenue of $1.4 billion, and its business model includes both equipment sales and leasing services tailored to customer project requirements, the report said.
