Iran links reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to U.S. acceptance of conditions

Iran’s military said the Strait of Hormuz would only be reopened once the United States accepts Iran’s stated conditions, a position that keeps pressure on an important global shipping chokepoint, according to CNBC Markets.

CNBC World reports the comments follow statements from the UAE that one of its ships was targeted by an airstrike, adding to concerns about disruption risk in the waterway.
