Treace Medical raises 2026 revenue outlook, expects faster case volumes

Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. said it is raising its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $204 million to $212 million, based on an expected return to positive growth in the seasonally strongest fourth quarter, according to a Yahoo Finance earnings call summary.
The company attributed sequential improvement in revenue growth to high single-digit case volume acceleration and increased surgeon adoption of its comprehensive bunion portfolio. It also pointed to a year-over-year revenue decline tied to lower procedure kit sales to stocking distributors, along with a continued product mix shift toward lower-priced minimally invasive options.
Treace said it is expanding its addressable market by capturing 75% of bunion procedures previously unaddressed by its core Lapiplasty system. Management reported that about 40% of the existing surgeon base has used at least one of three new bunion systems launched in late 2025, up from 35% in the prior quarter, and it described an emerging pull-through effect where 30% of new surgeons who first adopted the newer systems later used Lapiplasty.
On the margin and cash side, the summary said profitability improved through organizational efficiencies and restructuring, helping reduce cash usage and improve adjusted EBITDA leverage despite a lower revenue base. The company expects a limited commercial launch of its next-generation Lapiplasty Lightning platform in the fourth quarter and projected a 50% reduction in full-year 2026 cash usage, supported by continued operational discipline and restructuring benefits.
