Bristol Myers Squibb to build $2.3B manufacturing campus in Houston
The new Generation Park site is expected to create nearly 500 skilled jobs and is designed with modular capacity to expand as the company’s pipeline evolves.
Bristol Myers Squibb selected Houston for a new multi-modal manufacturing campus at Generation Park, a project valued at approximately $2.3 billion aimed at accelerating delivery of next-generation medicines.
ConnectCRE said the campus is expected to create nearly 500 skilled jobs and is built to grow over time, with modular design that lets BMS add and reconfigure manufacturing capacity as needed.
The facility will support manufacturing across multiple medicine types, including small molecules, biologics, and antibody-drug conjugates, using capabilities intended to serve a range of disease areas.
The Houston selection also marks a step in BMS’ $40 billion commitment to invest in the United States over five years across research and development, technology, and domestic manufacturing, and it follows Eli Lilly’s earlier plan for a $6.5 billion active pharmaceutical ingredients plant in the same complex.
