Greenberg Traurig signs 25,000 SF lease at 15 CityPlace
The firm is moving after 40 years at Phillips Point and expects the 10-year space to hold about 80 attorneys and professional staff.
Greenberg Traurig has signed a 25,000 SF lease for a full floor at 15 CityPlace, an under-construction tower by Related Ross in West Palm Beach, according to Bisnow.
The firm plans to relocate its office after spending 40 years at Phillips Point, which Related Ross purchased in 2021 for $282M. The move is described as a downsizing from the 30,000 SF Greenberg currently occupies, while co-managing shareholder Tracy Gerber said the new office will be designed to support the firm’s planned growth.
Bisnow reports the 10-year lease is expected to accommodate roughly 80 attorneys and professional staff. The firm also currently leases nearly 129,000 SF at the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Miami.
Beyond the law firm move, Bisnow notes Related Ross started construction on 15 CityPlace and 10 CityPlace after landing a $772M construction loan led by Ares Real Estate, Monarch Alternative Capital and HPS Investment Partners. Cleveland Clinic is anchoring 15 CityPlace with 490,000 SF, including a 120,000 SF outpatient location.
