Nasdaq flags $675 million Avalanche Treasury with possible delisting
Avalanche Treasury Corporation has until Feb. 2, 2027 to regain a $1 minimum closing bid and at least $35 million in listed-securities value for 10 consecutive business days.
Avalanche Treasury Corporation (AVAT) has been given time to address two Nasdaq listing deficiencies after its share price and the market value of its listed securities fell below exchange thresholds, according to CryptoSlate. The company must resolve both issues by Feb. 2, 2027, or it risks further Nasdaq action.
Nasdaq informed AVAT that its closing bid price has remained below $1 and that its market value of listed securities has stayed under $35 million for 33 consecutive business days. As of press time, AVAT traded around $0.32, meaning the share price would need to more than triple to meet the $1 bid requirement, but fixing only that would not address the separate $35 million test.
Under Nasdaq's process, the company must keep each metric above its respective threshold for at least 10 consecutive business days before Nasdaq confirms compliance. AVAT has not disclosed a definitive remediation plan, though it cited a reverse stock split as one option for the minimum bid-price shortfall, which could also allow an additional 180-day period in certain circumstances.
CryptoSlate also notes the reverse split alone would not increase the aggregate market value measured under the second test, so AVAT would still need to recover its equity valuation or pursue another route to compliance. The company was formed from a combination with special-purpose acquisition company Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. in a transaction valued at more than $675 million, and AVAT reported holding more than 15 million AVAX, including more than 7.2 million staked tokens, plus financing arrangements such as a $25 million FalconX loan and a $10 million Galaxy Digital facility.
