Nasdaq gives Avalanche Treasury more time after listing bid and value slips

Avalanche Treasury Corporation has until Feb. 2, 2027 to regain a $1 minimum closing bid and keep listed-securities value at least $35 million for 10 straight business days, with its shares still trading on Nasdaq Capital Market.

Avalanche Treasury Corporation (AVAT) has been placed on Nasdaq’s compliance clock after the exchange flagged two separate listing deficiencies tied to the company’s share price and the market value of its listed securities, according to CryptoSlate.

Nasdaq told AVAT that its closing bid price stayed below $1 and that the company’s market value of listed securities remained under $35 million for 33 consecutive business days. With AVAT trading around $0.32 as of press time, the stock would need to more than triple to meet the minimum bid-price threshold, but clearing that alone would not address the second requirement.

The notices do not immediately suspend trading, and AVAT shares continue trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market. Instead, the company must keep each metric above its respective threshold for at least 10 consecutive business days before Nasdaq confirms compliance, CryptoSlate reports.

AVAT has not disclosed a definitive remediation plan, though it cited a reverse stock split as one option for the minimum-bid shortfall, and could qualify for an additional 180-day period under certain conditions. CryptoSlate notes that a reverse split by itself would not raise the aggregate market value measured under the second test, meaning AVAT would still need equity-valuation recovery or another route to comply.
