Bank of America buys Jacksonville office campus buildings for $155M

The $155 million deal covers about 820,000 square feet across five buildings and two parking garages it had been leasing at its Southside Boulevard operations campus.

Bank of America has agreed to buy five office buildings and two parking garages at its Southside Boulevard operations center campus in Jacksonville for $155 million, according to ConnectCRE.

The lender acquired the properties from Ladder Capital of New York City, taking control of roughly 820,000 square feet spanning Buildings 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 at 9000 Southside Blvd., north of The Avenues mall.

ConnectCRE reports Bank of America has invested heavily in renovating the properties it previously leased as part of the campus operations.

As part of the transaction, Bank of America will continue to lease about 78,000 square feet across three floors in Building 100, which is owned by Glenfield Capital of Atlanta, and the Southside campus supports more than 7,100 employees across Bank of America’s businesses.
