CFTC orders Kalshi to keep operating during New York lawsuit
The CFTC has used its emergency authority to keep Kalshi operating as the platform faces a lawsuit in New York, according to The Block.
The regulator’s order came after the company was sued last month, and it requires Kalshi to continue operations while the legal dispute plays out.
The Block reports the CFTC directed Kalshi to maintain service following the court challenge, citing its emergency powers.
