Credit-card delinquencies stabilize as loan piles continue growing
The New York Fed data highlighted by WSJ Markets suggests the share of credit-card loans moving into serious delinquency has been stabilizing, even as the overall delinquency loan balance continues to rise.
WSJ Markets reports that the trend points to a slowdown in the rate at which newer balances are deteriorating into serious delinquency, despite the growing size of the charged-off and delinquent pool.
