Australian regulator takes down Yepbit websites amid withdrawal complaints
The regulator also rejected Yepbit's claim that ASIC had frozen investor funds, saying the action focused on removing the platform's sites.
Australia's market regulator ASIC has taken down websites associated with crypto platform Yepbit after investors reported problems withdrawing funds, according to The Block.
The Block reports that ASIC also denied Yepbit's contention that the regulator had frozen investor money.
In the same update, The Block said the regulator characterized the withdrawal dispute as tied to its enforcement action rather than any official freezing of investor assets.
