Crypto.com launches tokenized stock derivatives tracking 1,500 U.S. stocks

The products, issued by Foris Capital, offer synthetic price exposure that does not make holders legal or beneficial shareholders and can trade around the clock with $1 minimums.

Crypto.com has started offering tokenized derivatives that track the prices of 1,500 U.S. stocks and exchange traded funds, extending the company’s push into traditional equity exposure. CoinDesk reports the offer is available to eligible users in the European Economic Area and other approved markets.

According to CoinDesk, the instruments are designed to follow underlying share or ETF price moves, but they do not confer ownership. Holders do not receive voting or other shareholder rights, and Crypto.com said investors may get dividend equivalent adjustments.

Crypto.com said Wednesday that positions start at $1 and can be traded around the clock. CoinDesk adds that the products are derivatives issued by Foris Capital CY Limited, and the underlying assets are held with U.S. broker dealer Alpaca.

The launch comes as tokenized stocks keep expanding at the intersection of crypto and traditional markets. CoinDesk cites RWA.xyz data showing tokenized stocks reached about $2.49 billion in value, up roughly 600% over the past year, and notes Citi’s estimate that tokenized securities could reach a $5.5 trillion market by 2030, including $2.6 trillion in tokenized equities.
