Haworth renews 10-year lease for 125 Park Avenue showroom
The 10-year renewal covers 30,365 square feet at SL Green Realty's Midtown office building, where SL Green cited recent lobby and elevator cab renovations and a 99 percent occupancy rate.
Office furniture manufacturer Haworth has renewed its lease for its office and showroom space at SL Green Realty’s 125 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, Commercial Observer reported.
SL Green said Haworth signed a 10-year renewal covering 30,365 square feet in the 25-story building, where the company has been a tenant for more than a decade. The outlet noted Haworth previously renewed the same space in 2015, and SL Green did not disclose the asking rent.
SL Green, acquired the property in 2010 for $330 million, according to property records cited in the report. In a statement, SL Green executive Steven Durels said the building’s proximity to Grand Central Terminal and new lobby and elevator cab renovations have helped keep occupancy at 99 percent.
Other tenants listed by Commercial Observer include TD Securities and Newmark, and the report said SL Green handled its side of the deal in-house while Cushman & Wakefield represented Haworth.
