Kalshi launches real-time order book data feed via DoubleZero Edge

The initial offering includes Level 1 and Level 2 data for Kalshi sports contracts and crypto perpetual futures, with Kalshi waiving its subscription share for the first year.

Kalshi has added a real-time market data feed to make access to its live order books faster for trading firms, partnering with DoubleZero for distribution over DoubleZero Edge. The companies said the feed delivers Kalshi’s sports event contracts and crypto perpetual futures using DoubleZero’s fiber network, starting immediately.

The service includes Level 1 data, showing the best available prices and completed trades, and Level 2 data, showing buy and sell orders across multiple price levels. DoubleZero Edge uses a multicast system to send the same machine-readable data to connected traders simultaneously.

Kalshi and DoubleZero said the formatted data is intended for production uses such as pricing, hedging, and automated trading, delivered in a format firms can consume directly. DoubleZero CEO Austin Federa described the change as a subscription model that replaces each firm building its own production-grade setup.

Kalshi said it will waive its share of subscription fees for the first year, though the companies did not disclose subscription prices. DoubleZero said fees will cover network delivery rather than Kalshi’s data-licensing costs. According to Kalshi’s Head of Institutional Andy Ross, the goal is to provide institutional-grade market infrastructure for firms that are increasingly active across venues.
