Offerpad plans to ramp home purchases again in 2026

The company is steering its strategy to tighter-inventory metro areas and now sells four offerings after net losses from 2022 to 2025.

Offerpad CEO Brian Bair said the iBuyer is ramping home purchases again in 2026 after years of net losses, including a $9.3 million loss in Q2 2026, according to HousingWire.

HousingWire reports Offerpad has posted net losses from 2022 through 2025, totaling $148.6 million in 2022, $117.2 million in 2023, $62.2 million in 2024, and $46.38 million in 2025.

Bair said Offerpad has shifted beyond its earlier iBuying focus, adding four distinct products and refocusing its buy box toward tighter-inventory metro areas.

He said the company has positioned itself as a broader solution center, including cash offers, listing help on the open market, and renovations for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, while using its cash buying business to serve agents as well as buyers and sellers.
