Om Infra shares jump after Q1 profit and sales rise
The infrastructure firm reported Q1 FY27 net profit of ₹11.82 crore, up from ₹10.60 crore a year earlier, as sales climbed to ₹123.37 crore.
Om Infra shares rose more than 3% on Wednesday, supported by strong Q1 FY27 results and despite weakness in India’s Nifty 50 and Sensex, both down over 0.50%. The stock opened at ₹87.99 on the NSE and hit its intraday high at that level.
The company posted Q1 FY27 net profit of ₹11.82 crore, up around 11.5% year over year from ₹10.60 crore. Sales revenue increased 19.20% year over year to ₹123.37 crore from ₹104.84 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Operating performance improved as the operating profit margin rose to 8.15% from 0.60% a year earlier, with PBDT of ₹8.32 crore versus a loss of ₹0.58 crore in the prior-year quarter. On a consolidated basis, Om Infra recorded revenue of ₹127.51 crore and net profit of ₹11.45 crore based on exchange filings.
The results also came alongside a strengthening project pipeline, including Om Infra emerging as the lowest bidder, L1, for two water infrastructure projects in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan with a combined value of around ₹1,050 crore. The company highlighted that translating the pipeline into firm orders and delivering on time will be key to sustaining growth, according to the reporting around its quarterly performance.
