Arrowpoint Investment Partners hires UBS O’Connor Asia and China team

Asia-focused hedge fund manager Arrowpoint Investment Partners is expanding its investment and management ranks with a series of hires from UBS’s former O’Connor platform, according to a report cited by Hedgeweek.

The changes include bringing in the regional head for O’Connor Asia and a dedicated China long-short team, as Arrowpoint strengthens its coverage and execution across the region.

Hedgeweek said the moves are part of Arrowpoint’s effort to build out its China investment capabilities alongside its broader Asia strategy.
