Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser backs passing a crypto bill despite stablecoin issues
Fraser said Citigroup would like to see the proposed Clarity Act become law while ongoing disputes continue over stablecoin-related reward practices.
Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser said she wants US lawmakers to pass the Clarity Act into law, even as disagreements on stablecoin reward issues continue within the industry, according to The Block.
Fraser also indicated she and other stakeholders are still pressing for changes to the bill, suggesting the final shape of the legislation remains under negotiation.
The comments come as stablecoin reward mechanisms remain a focal point in the broader debate over how digital assets should be regulated in the United States.
