Fabletics to open 25 new U.S. stores over the next 12 months

The athleisure retailer plans to expand by roughly 20 international stores as well, building on 12 U.S. openings already made in the first half of the year.

Fabletics plans to add 25 new U.S. storefronts over the next 12 months as it seeks to double revenue, according to Bisnow. The company also expects to open roughly 20 additional stores internationally during the same period.

The retailer is building on momentum from earlier expansion, having already opened 12 new U.S. stores in the first half of this year. Fabletics has more than 135 store locations worldwide, with its CEO Adam Goldenberg telling Bloomberg that more than 90% of expected growth will come from American shoppers.

Fabletics is privately held, but it shared that revenue is up more than 20% year to date. Goldenberg said revenue rose by more than 14% in 2024 and more than 18% in 2025, and the company surpassed $1B in revenue last year.

Bisnow also points to signs of strength in physical retail demand, citing JLL data showing U.S. retail recorded 10.2M square feet of net absorption in the second quarter of 2026 and a 4.4% national vacancy rate. Activewear sales were up 2% year over year in January, while nonactive apparel was down 2%, according to RetailDive.
