JLL arranges $40.5M refinancing for 162-unit Portland multifamily
The Payton, built in 2019, was refinanced via a five-year, floating-rate loan arranged through Prime Finance, and the property reported 98% occupancy as of August 2026.
JLL secured a $40.5 million refinancing for The Payton, a 162-unit multifamily property in Portland, Oregon, according to ConnectCRE.
JLL represented the borrower, ColRich, in arranging the five-year, floating-rate loan through Prime Finance for the seven-story, mid-rise community at 2020 NE Multnomah St.
The Payton sits at the confluence of Portland’s Central Eastside and Lloyd District submarkets, where the outlet said there is over five million square feet of retail within one mile. The property maintained 98% occupancy as of August 2026.
JLL Capital Market’s Debt Advisory team included Senior Managing Director Aldon Cole and other team members, and Cole said the refinancing reflects positive momentum in Portland’s multifamily market and the quality of ColRich’s long-term ownership strategy.
