Liberty Center in Ohio plans over $20M in upgrades, including housing and a hotel

The 64-acre mixed-use development has plans for roughly 300 apartment units and a full-service hotel as part of the investment program.

Liberty Center, a 64-acre mixed-use property in Liberty Township, Ohio, announced more than $20 million in completed, ongoing, and planned investments aimed at supporting the next phase of growth, including future hotel and residential development opportunities, according to ConnectCRE.

The investment program is being led by real estate developer Centennial, powered by Lincoln, which serves as the asset manager for the Apollo-owned property, and it will include major tenant upgrades, first-to-market entertainment concepts, and other long-term initiatives across the campus.

Current plans envision approximately 300 apartment units and a full-service hotel designed to complement Liberty Center’s existing mix of retail, dining, entertainment, and community gathering spaces.

Jonathan Maher, Senior Vice President of Asset Management for Centennial, said the initiatives reflect a long-term commitment to improving the customer experience, strengthening the property’s competitive position, and creating sustainable value for ownership.
