Madewell to open first Rockefeller Center store in 2027
The retailer will take 7,340 square feet at 1 Rockefeller Plaza under a long-term lease from Tishman Speyer.
Madewell has signed a long-term lease for space at 1 Rockefeller Plaza, marking the apparel brand’s first location at Rockefeller Center. ConnectCRE reports the store will open in 2027.
The new outlet will occupy 7,340 square feet at the property, bringing Madewell’s denim-focused retail experience to the Center, including signature styling and community-focused programming.
Tishman Speyer said Rockefeller Center continues to attract brands that influence culture and consumer behavior globally, with Madewell’s move reinforcing the Center’s mix of iconic New York identity and modern relevance.
