Mirae Asset to inject $35 million more into Korbit after July buyout
The additional funding comes after Mirae Asset acquired a 97.15% stake in Korbit in July for about $91.5 million.
Mirae Asset plans to inject an additional $35 million into the South Korean crypto exchange Korbit, following its July acquisition, according to The Block.
The outlet said Mirae Asset completed the purchase in July, taking control of 97.15% of Korbit for roughly $91.5 million.
The planned extra capital injection indicates Korbit will receive further funding after the majority stake acquisition, but The Block did not provide additional details on how the funds will be used.
