LiveMint Markets reports that Network People Services Technologies (NPST) Ltd shares rose more than 8% in bearish Indian market conditions, opening with an upside gap at ₹1,567.4 on the NSE and reaching an intraday high of ₹1,686.9. The stock later retraced from that peak and was trading around ₹1,665, above yesterday’s close of ₹1,537.2.
In its Q1FY27 results released on 11 August 2026, NPST reported total income of ₹61.4 crore, up 75.0% year over year from ₹35.1 crore in Q1FY26. Net profit climbed to ₹11.1 crore from ₹7.2 crore a year earlier, a 53.4% improvement, while EBITDA rose to ₹18.8 crore from ₹11.3 crore.
The outlet also highlighted that NPST’s EBITDA margin was 30.6% versus 32.2% in the year-ago quarter, a decline of about 164 basis points. It said SaaS-based recurring revenue growth and international expansion were key themes, including an LOI for NPST’s SuperApp solution with a global telecom operator, and an order book strengthening with growth in components tied to its “Bank in a Box” and payment devices offerings.
According to LiveMint Markets, the company cited continued momentum and progress across three revenue verticals, supported by a growing order book and traction in international markets, as well as a plan to scale its SaaS-led business and develop AI-led RegTech solutions.
