Trezor tells customers 14,000 names and addresses were exposed
Trezor said the breach came from its fulfillment partner ShipMonk, and it has not confirmed any leaked data being sold, published, or linked to scams yet.
Trezor said nearly 14,000 customers had personal data exposed after an unauthorized access incident at its fulfillment partner, ShipMonk. The firm reported this was the first time its customers’ phone numbers and shipping addresses were compromised, while it said its own infrastructure and wallets remain secure.
Trezor estimated that 11,742 customers had their names, email addresses, phone numbers, and shipping addresses affected. It also said another 1,947 customers had names, cities, and email addresses compromised, bringing the total to nearly 14,000 customers across the U.S., the UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal.
In response, Trezor said it notified affected customers by email, and that data for customers who did not receive a message was not compromised. It also said it has no confirmed cases so far of exposed data being published, shared, or offered for sale, and it is unaware of any scam or hack attempts tied to the incident.
The breach highlights a broader rise in global data incidents, according to SentinelOne, a U.S. cybersecurity firm cited by CoinDesk. SentinelOne said data breaches this year are up 17% versus 2025, with an average of 2,090 attacks worldwide each week, and that global breaches have risen 3% month over month since January.
