XRP hovers near $1 as XRPL activity rebounds but capital lags

XRPL logged 49,929 active addresses over 24 hours, yet XRPL stablecoin market cap fell 6.8% to $906.8 million.

XRP has returned to trade near $1 after slipping to about $0.98 this week, even as activity on the XRP Ledger rebounds, according to CryptoSlate data.

CryptoSlate said XRP Ledger active addresses hit 49,929 in a 24-hour period, the highest level in more than two months, and about 3% above the 48,453 recorded when XRP traded above $1.54 in May. The outlet also pointed to a shift in on-chain participation, including more active addresses and fewer large holders moving XRP onto Binance.

At the same time, CryptoSlate noted that growth in parts of the XRPL user base has not translated into equivalent growth in capital and turnover. Stablecoin holders on XRPL rose 37% over the past month to about 82,100, and stablecoin transfer volume increased 8.4% to $4.61 billion, but XRPL stablecoin market capitalization fell 6.8% to $906.8 million.

CryptoSlate also highlighted the tokenized real-world assets segment as a source of the broader mismatch, citing that RWA holders increased 29% to 217 while 30-day transfer volume fell nearly 27% to $242.35 million. The outlet said distributed RWA value declined 1.9% to $485.18 million, while represented asset value slipped 0.3% to about $4.05 billion.
