Guy Carpenter names new global leaders for property and casualty
The appointments, effective immediately, create two newly created roles that report to Guy Carpenter’s North America CEO and chief broking officer.
Guy Carpenter, a reinsurance broker and a Marsh business, has appointed David Duffy as Global Property Leader and Chris Ross as Global Casualty Leader, effective immediately.
The two newly created roles are based in New York and will report to John Trace, Chief Executive Officer of North America and Chief Broking Officer at Guy Carpenter.
Guy Carpenter said Duffy and Ross will use the firm’s best practices, global data, and market insights to provide risk transfer solutions to property and casualty clients, as they seek growth while navigating an evolving risk landscape.
The broker also noted that Duffy and Ross each have more than 25 years of experience and previously led major global client relationships, with Duffy joining the firm in 1992 and Ross joining in 1999.
