Printr winds down, cancels token launchpad event and promised airdrop

The token launchpad says it will stop operations Aug. 31, sending unstaked positions back to users and moving its app offline after that date.

Printr, an omnichain token launchpad that deployed assets across eight chains, said it is winding down and will cease operations by Aug. 31. The shutdown includes cancelling the token generation event and the airdrop it had told users to expect, with the app at app.printr.money set to go offline after Aug. 31, according to The Defiant.

Printr attributed the closure to missing two requirements for sustainability, capital and distribution reach. The outlet reported the platform collected $574,468 in fees since it began activity on Oct. 17, 2025, and that $480,790, or 84%, came in April 2026, including a peak single day of $73,145 on April 22. After April, monthly fees fell sharply, dropping to $42,983 in May, $10,491 in June, and $1,178 in July.

The Defiant also said Printr plans to unstake staked positions and accrued staking fees on all supported chains starting Aug. 18, then pause staking. Users who have not received assets by Aug. 20 were told to contact the team on Discord before Aug. 31, while tokens already deployed via Printr are expected to remain live on their respective chains.

The Defiant noted Printr previously raised $4.5 million, including a $2.5 million pre-seed and a $2 million seed extension, and that an attempt to raise from users later failed. It also said Printr had paused its PRINT community sale on April 30 and refunded commitments, returning USDC to original Solana wallets, with the token never launching.
