Safeway opens at The Gilmore mixed-use development in Gilbert
The development includes about 200,000 square feet of grocery, restaurant, and retail space, alongside 300 luxury apartments.
Thompson Thrift marked the grand opening of a Safeway grocery store within The Gilmore, a 35-acre mixed-use development in Gilbert.
The 64,000-square-foot Safeway is positioned at the northwest corner of Val Vista Drive and Germann Road, just off Loop 202, with The Gilmore totaling about 200,000 square feet of grocery, restaurant, and retail space.
The project also features The Residences at The Gilmore, which will include 300 luxury apartment homes offering studio through three-bedroom layouts.
Amenities cited for the apartments include a heated swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness studio, a coworking lounge with private focus rooms, outdoor entertainment spaces, and a dog park with a pet spa, along with balcony and patio options.
