XRP slips below $1 for first time since 2024
XRP traded at $0.98, its lowest level since November 2024, as market-wide pressure from the crypto downturn continues.
XRP has fallen below the widely watched $1 level, trading at about $0.98, which marks its lowest price since November 2024, according to Yahoo Finance.
The pullback comes as Ripple, the payments firm linked to XRP, announced a new Korea partnership with Jeonbuk Bank, following earlier deals in the country tied to custody and wallet infrastructure.
Yahoo Finance also noted that XRP has been drifting lower through the so-called crypto winter that has weighed on digital asset prices since October 2025, with the token down from above $3 a year ago.
In derivatives trading, Yahoo Finance cited XRP options with about $2.8 billion of contracts, where bullish bets on a rise outpaced bearish bets by roughly three to one. The outlet added that XRP transactions on the XRP Ledger typically settle in under five seconds and cost less than a penny to execute.
