Ascot appoints Ann Marie G. O’Flynn as EVP for casualty facultative

O’Flynn joins from Everest Reinsurance, where she served as US Head of Casualty & Professional Programs and Hybrid Solutions.

Ascot Group has named Ann Marie G. O’Flynn as Executive Vice President, Casualty Facultative Hybrids/Automatics, strengthening leadership for its Ascot Re U.S. business.

O’Flynn brings more than 25 years of experience across casualty and professional lines, including underwriting, business development, and account management. She previously joined Ascot from Everest Reinsurance Company, where she most recently served as Vice President, US Head of Casualty & Professional Programs/Hybrid Solutions.

Before Everest, she held roles at Berkley Re Solutions as Vice President and New Business Development Manager, and at Markel Re as Director, Casualty Facultative Underwriter. Her earlier career also includes positions at Lexington Insurance Company, Swiss Re, and Gen Re.

At Ascot, O’Flynn will report to Rory Cline, President of Ascot Re U.S., and is expected to play a key role in advancing the company’s Casualty Facultative Hybrids/Automatics platform.
