Spot Bitcoin ETFs draw $189M inflows, pushing August near $1B
Ether ETFs added $71.5 million on Tuesday, bringing August Ether ETF net inflows to about $345 million.
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds pulled in $189.3 million in net inflows on Tuesday, lifting August net inflows to about $951 million, according to Cointelegraph. Cointelegraph reports the inflows followed $297.6 million in net inflows on Monday, bringing the two-day total to $487 million. SoSoValue data cited by the outlet shows the two-day period accounted for more than half of the funds' net inflows for the month so far, after three consecutive sessions of net outflows from Aug. 12 through Aug. 14 when the ETFs shed about $250 million.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led Tuesday’s inflows with $143.6 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund added $23.9 million, Cointelegraph said. Cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs stand at about $52.28 billion, with total net assets around $79.3 billion.
On the Ether side, Cointelegraph reports spot Ether ETFs recorded $71.5 million in net inflows on Tuesday, bringing August net inflows to about $345 million. Bitcoin was trading around $64,234 at the time of writing, while Ether was priced at about $1,914, the outlet added, citing CoinGecko.
