Miami Design District breaks ground on $125M office, retail project

The eight-story development will add 92,000 square feet of office space and 22,500 square feet of ground-floor retail.

Miami Design District Associates and Raycliff Capital have broken ground on an office and retail project in the Miami Design District, after securing a $125 million construction loan, according to ConnectCRE.

Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, acting on behalf of a group of lenders, provided the mortgage for the development.

The project is set to include an eight-story building totaling 92,000 square feet of office space and 22,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, with parking supplied by the neighboring Museum Garage.

Norway-based Snøhetta is designing the project, and Kast Construction is serving as the general contractor.
