Sunshine Pictures IPO subscribed 4.33 times after day 2 bidding
The film producer’s shares were trading at a ₹77 grey market premium, while booking levels reached 7.2 times overall by 10:48 AM on day 2.
Sunshine Pictures Ltd, the film producer promoted by Vipul Shah and his wife Shefali Shah, saw its IPO subscription rise to 4.33 times of the IPO size after two days of bidding, according to LiveMint Markets. The public issue launched in India’s primary market on 17 August 2026 and will remain open until 19 August 2026.
The company set its share price band at ₹342 to ₹360 per equity share, and it plans to list on BSE and NSE. By 10:48 AM on day 2, the issue was booked 7.22 times, with retail subscribed 9.37 times and the NII segment filled 11.78 times, while the QIB portion was subscribed 0.04 times.
Grey market activity indicated strong interest, with market observers pointing to a ₹77 premium for Sunshine Pictures shares. The grey market premium was up ₹4 from the start of book-building on 17 August, reaching ₹77 by the time of the update.
Brokerage views cited in the coverage included KC Securities assigning an “apply” tag and valuing the company at 27.5 times FY26 P/E at the upper end of the price band, based on post-dilution EPS of ₹12.85. Master Capital Services assigned a “subscribe” tag, highlighting the company’s film, television, and web series production experience, as well as its digital and music verticals and a pipeline of six films and two web series.
