Target raises full-year outlook after stronger-than-expected Q2 sales
The retailer’s results were boosted by a tariff refund, supporting its raised outlook for the year.
Target reported better-than-expected second-quarter sales and said the improvement has helped lift its outlook for the full year, according to CNBC Markets.
The company also attributed part of its stronger bottom line to a large tariff refund, while pointing to a rebound in sales.
CNBC Earnings reported that Target raised its full-year guidance following the quarter’s performance, reflecting expectations that the sales recovery can continue.
