Binance launches Agent OS for AI agents with permission controls
Binance says users can route agent activity to dedicated subaccounts and revoke access at any time.
Binance has launched Agent OS, a developer platform that lets AI agents access crypto market data, monitor user accounts, and execute trades on the exchange, with user-set permissioning and trading limits, according to a Cointelegraph report.
Binance says users can authorize agents to view account information and place trades only within configured permissions. Users can also assign agents to dedicated subaccounts to separate funds and trading activity, and they can revoke agent access at any time.
The platform is designed to work with AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. Binance adds that it can monitor trades made through Agent OS, but it cannot see an agent’s external information sources, interpretation, or decision-making, which occur within the user’s chosen AI application.
Agent OS also connects AI agents to Binance payment and onchain tools so agents can make payments and interact with wallets and other onchain services. The rollout follows similar moves by other exchanges, including Coinbase’s Agent product and Kraken’s AI assistant that requires user approval before trades.
