US state benefits pilot to use Canton Network under RISE program

The RISE program would start combining and distributing state-administered benefits across three states in 2027 using the Canton Network, according to Cointelegraph.

Cointelegraph reports that the RISE program, backed by a digital asset effort tied to the Paul Ryan foundation, is targeting a US state benefits pilot using the Canton Network.

The plan would use the Canton Network to combine and distribute state-administered benefits across three US states, with the rollout beginning in 2027.

Cointelegraph also said the approach is designed around the Canton Network infrastructure as the mechanism for delivering those benefits across the participating states.
