Bitget CEO expects Bitcoin to stay within a $10,000 to $20,000 band
Gracy Chen linked the outlook to interest rates and said the US is unlikely to start national reserve BTC purchases within the next two years.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said she expects Bitcoin to trade broadly around current levels through year end, with her forecast calling for BTC to finish between $10,000 and $20,000 above or below where it is now.
Speaking on Cointelegraph’s Trade Secrets podcast, Chen cited macroeconomic uncertainty and the risk of higher interest rates as key factors that could pressure prices, noting that if rates rise, the price could move lower in theory.
She also questioned whether the US will begin buying Bitcoin for a national reserve before the end of President Donald Trump’s term, arguing such purchases are unlikely within the next two years and would require significant policy debate.
Cointelegraph noted that the Trump administration established a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve in March 2025 using BTC already forfeited to the federal government, and that the US holds an estimated 328,372 BTC, much of it accumulated through law enforcement seizures and asset forfeitures rather than new purchases.
