Convict Coffee Co. to open third Denver-area location later this year
The new site at 2260 E. Colfax Ave will replace Savageau Coffee and Ice Cream and sits near Cheesman Park, according to the deal roundup.
A local coffee shop with outposts in Denver and Parker plans to launch a third location later this year, bringing Convict Coffee Co. to 2260 E. Colfax Ave., at the edge of Denver’s Cheesman Park neighborhood.
Convict Coffee founder Dan Klehm said the next location came together unexpectedly, and the company’s first Denver spot opened earlier this year.
The new storefront will be adjacent to R&R Head Labs, a barbershop that employs people with prior convictions, and it will replace Savageau Coffee and Ice Cream, which opened on Colfax Avenue in 2023.
Separately in Denver-area real estate activity covered alongside the café announcement, Embrey bought an 18-acre parcel in Lafayette for $38.5M with plans for 324 multifamily units, and CBRE represented the seller in the transaction.
