Duquesne Family Office exits Intel and Micron in latest 13F
The firm also sold its full stake in Micron and opened new positions in Alphabet and Riot Platforms, according to its latest SEC filing.
Duquesne Family Office, the New York-based investment firm founded by billionaire Stanley Druckenmiller, completely exited its Intel position in the second quarter, according to its latest 13F filing with the SEC.
The same regulatory reshuffle showed the firm also sold its entire stake in Micron Technology, while initiating new positions in Alphabet and Riot Platforms, a Bitcoin mining company. The filing reflects holdings at the end of the quarter, and it does not show the timing or sale prices for those trades.
The move stands out because Intel has posted strong results, including revenue of $16.1 billion in Q2, which exceeded the companys own guidance by $1.8 billion.
Intel said its AI-driven businesses, taken together, grew more than 70% year over year and accounted for roughly 70% of total revenue in the quarter, supporting a surge in the stock this year.
