StreetLevel Investments opens first tenants at Village at Gateway in Forney
Phase 1 of the 152-acre development is tied to 750,000 square feet of retail and entertainment, anchored by Target, Home Depot, and H-E-B.
StreetLevel Investments says the first tenants have opened at Village at Gateway, a multi-phase 152-acre mixed-use project in Forney, Texas.
The development sits at North Gateway Boulevard and U.S. Highway 80 within the 2,000-acre Gateway master planned community. Phase 1 includes 750,000 square feet of premium retail, entertainment, and restaurants.
ConnectCRE reports the 2024 groundbreaking kicked off work, and the project is billed as the largest ground-up retail development in the Southwest United States. Village at Gateway is designed by GFF, with Ridgemont Commercial Construction serving as general contractor.
When fully completed, Village at Gateway will add 120,000 square feet of additional retail, service, and restaurant concepts, along with nine outparcels and future multi-family residential. Retail leasing and sales are being handled by David Copeland and Ryan Griffin of Edge Realty Partners.
