Apollo Micro Systems buys 34% stake in Shauryastra Defence Systems

The investment is ₹34,000 for 3,400 equity shares at a ₹10 face value, valuing Apollo's stake at 34% of Shauryastra's paid-up equity.

Apollo Micro Systems said it has acquired a 34% stake in newly incorporated defence technology and development company Shauryastra Defence Systems Private Limited. The acquisition was made by subscribing to 3,400 equity shares at a face value of ₹10 each, for a total cash investment of ₹34,000.

Shauryastra Defence Systems was incorporated on 21 August 2026, and is described in the filing as a dedicated entity for addressing complex and futuristic operational requirements of the Indian Armed Forces. The venture is set to be led by Dr V. K. Saraswat, former Secretary of the Department of Defence Research and former Director General of DRDO.

Apollo Micro Systems said the move leverages its capabilities in the design, development, manufacturing, and integration of defence technologies, positioning the investment as an extension of its defence electronics work toward complete weapon system solutions. The company also said the transaction aligns with the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and was completed through a cash subscription to the Memorandum of Association at face value, with no additional governmental or regulatory approvals required.

In a separate update cited in the filing, Apollo said that its manager to an open offer received a communication from SEBI regarding a proposed offer to acquire up to 1.40 crore fully paid-up equity shares of Premier Explosives. SEBI said the tendering period must start within 12 working days of Competition Commission of India approval, with payments to successful tendering shareholders due within 10 working days after the tendering period closes, and an interest charge of 10% per annum if there is a delay, subject to regulations.
