Front Street seeks Lexington industrial park with up to 8.4M sf
The plan would use an 850-acre master plan with 15 parcels and support advanced manufacturing, logistics firms, and corporate campuses.
Front Street Capital is pursuing an 850-acre master-planned industrial park in Lexington, North Carolina, with potential for about 8.4 million square feet of industrial space, according to ConnectCRE.
The city annexed the land to support the project, but zoning creation and approval are still required. The current concept calls for 15 parcels ranging from 11 acres to 153 acres, with buildings sized from roughly 80,000 square feet up to 2 million square feet.
The development is intended to accommodate advanced manufacturing, logistics firms, and corporate campuses with multiple buildings. It also cites close access to I-85 and Norfolk Southern rail lines.
ConnectCRE also notes Front Street is partnering with other investors on The Grounds mixed-use development in Winston-Salem, where the first phase is described as a $250 million project including a student apartment complex, a 135,000-square-foot office building, and a 42,000-square-foot retail village.
