Strive buys $81.5 million of bitcoin, total holdings rise to 21,356 BTC
Strive purchased the 1,110 bitcoin between Aug. 17 and Aug. 21 at an average price of $73,409 per coin, lifting holdings by about 5.5% from mid-August levels.
Strive (ASST) acquired 1,110 bitcoin for approximately $81.5 million between Aug. 17 and Aug. 21, according to an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, bringing its total bitcoin holdings to 21,356 BTC.
The company paid an average price of $73,409 per coin, including fees and expenses, and the purchase increased its holdings by about 5.5% from 20,246 BTC as of mid-August.
Based on Bitcoin Treasuries data cited by The Block, Strive remains the seventh-largest public company holder of bitcoin.
The Block also noted that bitcoin treasury companies continue to expand their positions and adjust financing strategies, with Michael Saylor's Strategy leading the public cohort by holdings size.
