Arcus launches tokenized perpetual positions on Robinhood Chain
Arcus said it recorded more than $2 billion in trading volume since its Robinhood Chain launch, with average daily volume above $100 million.
Arcus, a decentralized exchange built by the team behind dYdX, has launched a protocol on Robinhood Chain that converts perpetual futures positions into transferable ERC-20 tokens, the DEX announced in a Tuesday press release covered by Cointelegraph.
The setup is designed to allow tokenized stocks to act as collateral for leveraged trading without requiring users to sell their holdings, with Arcus also rolling out products including pBTC3x for 3x Bitcoin exposure and pHOOD3x for 3x exposure to Robinhood’s HOOD stock token.
Cointelegraph reports Arcus CEO Eddie Zhang said the company is aiming to make sophisticated leveraged strategies native to blockchain infrastructure, citing how traditional markets enabled access through products such as leveraged ETFs.
Arcus also said it has logged more than $2 billion in trading volume since launching on Robinhood Chain, with average daily volume exceeding $100 million. Separate data cited by Cointelegraph shows Robinhood Chain’s total value locked rose to $596 million since its July 1 launch.
