Christ Covenant Church buys 94,000-sq-ft Buckhead office for $16.9M

The 1983-built, Class A property at 3520 Piedmont Road Northeast is set to be operated as a multi-tenant office in the short term, with a longer-term plan for a new campus and a 2,500-seat sanctuary.

ConnectCRE reports that Christ Covenant Church has acquired Piedmont Place, a 94,000-square-foot, four-story office building in Atlanta's Buckhead at 3520 Piedmont Road Northeast.

The transaction was brokered by Transwestern, which represented Christ Covenant Church in the purchase from Hall Capital, according to ConnectCRE. The price was $16.9 million, or $179 per square foot.

ConnectCRE also reports that Transwestern has been retained to provide agency leasing and asset services for the Class A property.

Christ Covenant said that since 2017 it has grown to more than 2,000 members and three campuses in metro Atlanta, and it plans to use Piedmont Place as a multi-tenant office building in the short term while developing a long-term campus, including the addition of a 2,500-seat sanctuary.
