EU sanctions push NoOnes crypto platform into withdrawal-only mode
NoOnes urged customers to remove full balances by Sunday, Aug. 23, while citing sanctions compliance issues and partner losses.
CryptoSlate reports that NoOnes has shifted into a withdrawal-only mode after an EU sanctions listing affected an entity tied to the platform. The notice said users are advised to remove their full balances no later than Sunday, Aug. 23, while the platform continues to allow sign-ins, balance viewing, withdrawals, and support contact during the wind-down.
The platform stated that its withdrawal routes remain open for regular Bitcoin over the Bitcoin network and USDT over Tron via TRC-20. NoOnes warned that receiving exchanges or services may delay, reject, or restrict transfers, and told users to confirm acceptance before sending funds.
According to CryptoSlate, the EU regulation adds “NoOnecrypto INC.” to Annex XLV Part A starting Aug. 23 under a framework prohibiting direct or indirect transactions with listed non-EU financial, crypto-asset, and payment-service entities. NoOnes said it could not resolve or remove the sanctions impact, and attributed closure to losing essential partners and to blockchain-monitoring providers classifying NoOnes-related wallets and transactions as high risk.
The company said its wind-down began Aug. 17, with its P2P marketplace closing Aug. 21 at 11:59 p.m. UTC. It also said that services including Bitcoin Lightning, every USDT network except TRC-20, Swap, Visa, crypto off-ramps, gift cards, partner payouts, and new registrations were among the functions shut, while accounts already on hold cannot withdraw immediately and will be moved to banned status.
