Gold dips in India as price falls vs Monday

In India, gold fell to 14,243.4 INR per gram on Tuesday from 14,315.8 INR per gram on Monday, according to FXStreet data.

Gold prices fell in India on Tuesday, according to data compiled by FXStreet.

FXStreet calculated gold at 14,243.4 Indian rupees (INR) per gram, down from 14,315.8 INR per gram on Monday.

In per-toila terms, gold decreased to 166,130.6 INR per tola from 166,976.9 INR per tola the day before, FXStreet said.

FXStreet said it derives India prices by translating international gold levels based on USD/INR exchange rates and the local measurement units, with prices updated daily from market rates at the time of publication.
