SENTRE buys Carlsbad industrial property leased to Glanbia Nutritionals

The $26.6-million deal covers a 104,298-square-foot building at 2840 Loker Ave. East that has been 100% leased to Glanbia Nutritionals since 2001.

SENTRE has acquired a Carlsbad, California industrial property leased to Glanbia Nutritionals, marking a transaction CBRE helped facilitate. The deal includes the sale and financing of 2840 Loker Ave. East, a 104,298-square-foot asset located within the Carlsbad Technology Center, according to ConnectCRE.

ConnectCRE said CBRE represented the ownership in the transaction, while financing was secured for the buyer by CBRE. Leasing advisory services were also provided by CBRE, and CBRE described the asset as a mission-critical industrial facility with longstanding occupancy by Glanbia Nutritionals.

ConnectCRE reported the building has served as Glanbia’s operational and logistics hub since 2001, and the property is 100% leased to the company. The outlet added that SENTRE has completed more than $350 million in recent industrial investments across the Western U.S.

ConnectCRE also highlighted continued investor demand for industrial properties of this type, citing CBRE’s Hunter Rowe, who said liquidity and demand remain robust for mission-critical and advanced manufacturing assets. Rowe attributed investor interest to the Carlsbad location, Glanbia’s tenancy, and underlying real estate fundamentals.
